1. What’s the difference between an Air Cooler and an Air Conditioner?

• Air coolers provide localised cooling by blowing air over water cooled by ice packs, offering relief from the heat in a specific area. They don’t require external ventilation and work best when placed near an open door or window.
• Air conditioners can lower the room's temperature. In order to work, they need a window or vent for the exhaust hose, as they remove heat from the indoor air and release it outside, while cooling the air that is recirculated into the room.
• Find more information on this here

  2. What does BTU mean and what BTU is best suited for my home?

BTU stands for British Thermal Unit, a measurement of thermal energy. Our air conditioners are designed for single-room use, so they cannot cool an entire house or flat at once. The BTU you need depends on the size of your room.

The 12,000 BTU Air Conditioner specifically is best suited for a maximum room size of 30m²/322ft².

3. Can I use a portable Air Conditioner in a room without a window?

No, You shouldn’t use it in a windowless room. Air conditioners need an exhaust hose to expel hot air outside; without it, the room won't cool down.

4. Can I purchase a longer exhaust hose?

No, we don't sell longer hoses. Our 150cm hose is designed to expel hot air efficiently. Longer hoses may leave some hot air inside your home.
