Meet the OmniDry family: the right dehumidifier for every room

Meet the OmniDry family: the right dehumidifier for every room

Four sizes, one simple idea: quiet, low-energy moisture control matched to your space.

One family, four sizes

Start with the room, then pick the size that suits it.

Moisture shows up differently in every home. In a studio flat, it might be steamed-up windows and washing on the radiator. In a family house, it could be a damp back bedroom, a full airer every day and a utility room that never quite feels fresh.

That's why the OmniDry range comes in four sizes: 10L, 12L, 20L and 40L. Each number is how many litres of moisture the dehumidifier can pull from the air in a day. The bigger the number, the bigger the room, or the bigger the damp problem, it's built for.

Below, we walk through each model, what it does best and the kind of home it suits, so you can choose with confidence.

What every OmniDry has in common

Quiet, low-energy moisture control that works in the background.

Whichever size you choose, every OmniDry is designed around the same everyday needs.

Laundry mode: every model has a dedicated laundry setting that boosts moisture extraction, helping clothes dry faster indoors without that damp, musty smell.

Low running costs: from as little as 4p an hour for the OmniDry 10L to 8p an hour for the OmniDry 40L, so you can keep damp at bay without worrying about your energy bill.

Each OmniDry has built in sensors that automatically holds your home's humidity at a constant level. You can also use the smart app or voice control, so you can check and adjust them from your phone or with Alexa and Google Home

Easy water management: empty the tank straight into the sink, or set the 10L, 12L or 20L up for continuous drainage and let it run hands-free.

OmniDry 10L: small but mighty

Our most compact OmniDry, made for flats and small spaces.

The OmniDry 10L is the smallest dehumidifier in the range, designed for homes where floor space is precious: flats, student rooms and smaller houses.

It removes up to 10 litres of moisture a day, which is plenty for a bedroom, box room or spare room that's prone to condensation. Because it's compact and lightweight, with smooth-gliding castors, it's easy to wheel from the bedroom to the bathroom to the hallway, then tuck into an under-stairs cupboard or utility corner when you don't need it.

It still has a laundry drying mode, a built-in sensor that keeps humidity at a comfortable 40 to 60%, and a 1.7L tank with a continuous drainage option. At as little as 4p an hour, it's also the lowest-cost OmniDry to run.

Best for: flats, student accommodation, bedrooms and small rooms, and anyone who wants moisture control that doesn't take over the space.

OmniDry 10L Quiet Compact Space Saving Low Energy Dehumidifier with Laundry Mode

  • Our most compact OmniDry, small enough to tuck into cupboards and tight corners
  • Removes up to 10 litres of moisture a day, with laundry drying mode
  • Costs as little as 4p an hour to run

OmniDry 12L: the dependable all-rounder

Whisper-quiet moisture control for bedrooms and medium-sized rooms.

If you want one dehumidifier that handles a bit of everything, the OmniDry 12L is the one to look at. It removes up to 12 litres of moisture a day and suits rooms up to 20 m² (215 sq ft), which covers most bedrooms, home offices and living rooms.

At under 36 dBA, it's one of our quietest compressor dehumidifiers, quiet enough to leave running while you work or sleep. A built-in sensor keeps humidity between 40 and 60%, and laundry drying mode helps on wet-weather wash days.

The 2L tank is easy to empty, and a hose is included if you'd rather drain it continuously. It costs as little as 5p an hour to run.

It's handy for decorating too. Fresh plaster, paint and wallpaper all release moisture into a room, and a dehumidifier helps them dry faster. In her Dehumidifier Diaries episode, Amanda used hers to get her child's newly wallpapered room finished within a day.

Best for: bedrooms, home offices, decorating projects and medium-sized rooms where quiet matters.

OmniDry 20L: our award-winning laundry hero

Our best seller, loved by customers and experts alike

The OmniDry 20L is our bestselling OmniDry and a Which? Best Buy, recognised for removing moisture from damp air quickly at room temperature, quietly and without using excess electricity.

It removes up to 20 litres of moisture a day and covers rooms up to 30 m² (322 sq ft), making it a strong choice for living rooms, lofts, home offices and busy family homes. Even with the extra capacity, it runs at under 36 dBA and costs as little as 7p an hour.

Where it really earns its place is laundry. Laundry mode boosts moisture extraction so clothes dry faster indoors, and the 4L tank means fewer trips to the sink. In our Dehumidifier Diaries, Oliver uses his to get through two washes in a day in his back room, while Sara built one into a ventilated drying cupboard that she calls probably her favourite thing in the house.

It's smart, too: control it from anywhere with the Pro Breeze app, or by voice with Alexa and Google Home.

Best for: families, regular indoor laundry drying, larger rooms and anyone who wants smart control.

OmniDry 20L Quiet Low Energy Dehumidifier with Laundry Mode and Smart App Control

  • Which? Best Buy, removing up to 20 litres of moisture a day
  • Laundry mode and a 4L tank for faster indoor drying with less emptying
  • Smart app and voice control with Alexa and Google Home

OmniDry 40L: for big spaces and serious damp

Our most powerful OmniDry, built for when nothing else works.

Some homes need more than everyday moisture control. Large open-plan spaces, older properties with persistent condensation and rooms where mould keeps coming back all call for a higher extraction rate, and that's where the OmniDry 40L comes in.

It removes up to 40 litres of moisture a day and covers areas up to 50 m² (538 sq ft), so it suits large homes and even commercial spaces. Despite the extra power, it uses less energy (0.33 kWh) than our other models of a similar size, and costs as little as 8p an hour to run.

Its 5.5L tank is the largest in the range, so it can keep working for longer between emptying. One-touch laundry mode speeds up indoor drying, and smart app and voice control let you check and adjust it from anywhere. At up to 52 dBA, about the level of light rainfall, it's louder than the smaller models but still comfortable for everyday use.

Best for: large and open-plan spaces, severe damp and condensation, recurring mould and big family homes.

OmniDry 40L Quiet Low Energy Dehumidifier with Laundry Mode and Smart App Control

  • Our most powerful OmniDry: up to 40 litres a day for spaces up to 50 m²
  • The largest tank in the range at 5.5L, for less emptying
  • One-touch laundry mode with smart app and voice control

Which OmniDry is right for you?

Here's a quick guide to choosing your OmniDry.

OmniDry 10L: small rooms, flats and student accommodation, where space is tight.

OmniDry 12L: bedrooms, home offices and medium rooms up to 20 m², where quiet matters most.

OmniDry 20L: larger rooms up to 30 m² and regular indoor laundry, with smart control.

OmniDry 40L: large spaces up to 50 m² and persistent damp, condensation or mould.

Not sure? Measure your room, think about where moisture shows up most and how often you dry washing indoors. If you're between two sizes, a model with more capacity will bring the room to a comfortable humidity level faster.

Whichever you choose, every OmniDry is designed to do the same job: keep your home feeling fresh, dry and comfortable, quietly, in the background.
